The Funding Bulletin from the Research Development team provides a database of deadlines for upcoming key funding opportunities.
The Department of Defense (DOD) offers four different early career funding opportunities to support tenure-track faculty. These opportunities are designed to foster creativity, enhance early career development, and overall increase opportunities for young investigators within DOD's research program.
The Research Development team is offering a two part on demand Funding Your Vision Series.
Learn how to win federal funding for international research projects from a panel of experienced FSU researchers and staff. This workshop is aimed at FSU researchers with some experience writing competitive grants who want to learn about the specific quirks, challenges, and opportunities that arise for international research. Panelists include researchers with experience winning funding for international projects from USAID, NIH, and NSF, as well as FSU staff and affiliates knowledgeable about federal compliance requirements and priorities for international research.
In preparation for the University Thanksgiving and Winter break holiday closures, the following internal deadlines will apply:
Pre-proposals, including preliminary proposals, letters of intent, concept papers and white papers, may be submitted by PIs without being routed through RAMP or SRA. RAMP and SRA approval is only required if the pre-proposal contains a detailed budget or requires signature or submission by the Authorized Organizational Representative (AOR).
