FSURF Tuition Waivers - New Procedure

We would like to inform all FSU Research Foundation departments and PIs of a critical update concerning the tuition waiver process.

Previously, waivers entered into the waiver system on FSURF funds were automatically charged to the respective College/Department’s Waiver Allocation (“Waiver Allocation”). Student waivers funded by the FSU Research Foundation (funds 543-545) can no longer utilize the Direct Charge Program due to new system limitations. To date, the Graduate School has been manually correcting all waivers which incorrectly posted to the Waiver Allocation. Unfortunately, due to the volume of waivers, this is no longer sustainable. As a result, alternative processes have been developed to allow these costs to be charged to the appropriate funding combination.
