Introducing the Research Knowledge and Support Hub

The Office of Research is excited to announce the latest addition to our suite of resources dedicated to fostering research excellence and innovation: The Research Knowledge and Support Hub. This comprehensive platform aims to streamline and enhance the research administration process, empowering our community to thrive in their endeavors.

At the heart of the Research Knowledge and Support Hub lies a vibrant online forum, providing a space for researchers, administrators, and other stakeholders to engage in dynamic discussions on a wide range of topics.

Whether you're seeking advice, sharing best practices, or exploring new ideas, this forum serves as a collaborative space for knowledge exchange and networking within our research community. Additionally, those seeking eSPEAR continuing education credit can earn points for their participation in the forum! Please see the FAQs on the forum site for more information.

Everyone associated with research at FSU is welcome to sign up. Simply navigate to fsuresearch.discourse.group and log in with your FSU credentials to get started.

In addition to the interactive forum, the Hub features a robust "Learning Center" section, offering access to a wealth of training materials designed to support professional development and skill enhancement. From webinars and tutorials to workshops and seminars, these resources are tailored to meet the diverse needs of researchers and administrators at every career stage.

Another exciting feature of the Research Knowledge and Support Hub is the introduction of our new Knowledge Base—a centralized repository housing a collection of searchable frequently asked questions and process guidance documents.

Whether you're navigating grant applications, compliance requirements, or project management protocols, the Knowledge Base provides comprehensive and easily accessible information to support your research endeavors.

Lastly, the Hub will now serve as the official home for our monthly internal research newsletter, The Connector. This newsletter will inform you about the latest updates, funding opportunities, success stories, and upcoming events within our research community, ensuring that you stay connected and engaged with the vibrant research landscape here at FSU.

To provide more information on the functionality of this new tool and respond to questions about it, the Office of Research will be offering online overview webinar via Teams on September 17, 2024 at 3:00pm.

We invite you to explore the Research Knowledge and Support Hub today and discover the myriad ways it can enhance your research journey. Whether you're seeking guidance, sharing insights, or simply connecting with peers, the Hub is here to empower and support you every step of the way.
