Research Development On Demand Learning

Research Development provides a range of On-Demand Webinars designed to support faculty. Features this month: SciENcv Virtual Tutorial, Private Research Grant Funding, OVPR Grants Boot Camp, and Best Practices for Engaging with Clinical Partners.

SciENcv Virtual Tutorial

The FSU Research Development team walks through how to use the required platform for creating Biographical Sketches and Current and Pending (Other) Support (CPOS) forms for federal agencies. In 2023, the National Science Foundation (NSF) started requiring investigators to use SciENcv to create and attach their biosketches and CPOS to new funding proposals. In 2025 (implementation date postponed), the National Institutes of Health (NIH) will shift to this platform for the Common Forms and NIH-specific supplemental documents. We want to equip you with all of the tools you'll need before this change takes effect. These sessions include a virtual tutorial through the ORCiD, MyNCBI, and SciENcv platforms, including efficient ways to import your citations and a how-to demonstration for creating and exporting NIH and NSF biosketches.
